GRASSROOT EMPOWERMENT NETWORK was established by professionals who have a wide range of experience individually spanning over twenty years. OUR ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE INCLUDES * Board of Trustee * Executive Council * Secretariat * Members - Financial - Honourary BOARD OF TRUSTEES/DIRECTIONS This is the highest decision making body of the foundation its members area saddled with the following functions. • To set policies and strategies • To set operational guidelines, work plans and budgets • To establish framework for monitoring accountability • To represent the view of the foundation in the larger society. • To network with outside agencies with a view to advocating for the foundation as well as mobilize resources. THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL. The Executive council consists of the Chairperson and the deputy, Secretary General and the deputy, the Treasurer and Financial Secretary as well as the program directors. They are responsible for policy and action plan implementation. THE SECRETARIAT This consists of the regular staff headed by the Secretary General. It carried out day-to-day functions of the foundation as interpreted by the Executive Council.
